COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science is a double degree requiring the completion of 480 credit points over four years of full-time study. The program combines studies in arts and science, allowing students to develop interdisciplinary knowledge and tailor their degree through a wide range of majors, minors, core subjects, and electives. The Arts component provides opportunities to study disciplines such as anthropology, archaeology, languages, philosophy, history, politics, sociology, and other humanities and social science fields. The Science component enables specialization in areas including biological sciences, botany, zoology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, data science, and related scientific disciplines. The curriculum integrates scientific methods with critical, ethical, and cultural perspectives, helping students understand complex challenges from multiple viewpoints. Students develop skills in scientific investigation, data collection and analysis, digital literacy, research methods, critical thinking, and effective communication. The course includes practical and theoretical learning, career development activities, and opportunities for industry projects or placements that connect academic knowledge with professional practice. Students explore contemporary issues such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, public health, emerging technologies, and the communication of scientific information.
