COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Women in Leadership specialization, recognized at the 2020 PIEoneer Awards for its innovative delivery, prepares professionals for strategic management by fostering skills to create equitable, diverse organizational cultures. Spanning three levels, the curriculum emphasizes fairness and inclusivity. Level 400 core subjects, all without prerequisites, include People, Culture and Contemporary Leadership, Governance, Ethics and Sustainability, Financial and Economic Interpretation and Communication, and Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Psychology, building foundational skills for inclusive leadership. Level 500 core subjects, such as Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Intelligence and Diversity, Dynamic Strategy and Disruptive Innovation, and two internships (Internship 2 requires Internship 1), provide practical experience in applying diversity-focused strategies. At Level 600, the core MBA Capstone: Strategy, taken in the final or penultimate trimester, integrates learning. Directed subjects like Gendered Workplace Environments, Personal Growth and Empowerment, and Communication, Persuasion and Influence, all without prerequisites, directly support the Women in Leadership focus, equipping students to foster equitable cultures. Additional directed subjects, including Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics (e.g., Strategic Value of Analytics, Data-driven Design Thinking), Organizational Change, and others in healthcare, project management, and tourism, allow customization to enhance leadership in diverse contexts. This structure blends theoretical insights with practical applications, preparing graduates to lead organizations that prioritize diversity and equity.
