The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Kaplan Business School is structured across three levels—400, 500, and 600—offering a combination of core and directed subjects to develop advanced management, leadership, and strategic skills.At level 400, students study foundational business disciplines, including People, Culture and Contemporary Leadership, Governance, Ethics and Sustainability, Financial and Economic Interpretation and Communication, and Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Psychology. These subjects build the essential knowledge and analytical skills required for strategic decision-making.Level 500 focuses on advanced leadership and strategy with courses such as Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Intelligence and Diversity, and Dynamic Strategy and Disruptive Innovation. Students also undertake practical work experience through Internship 1 and Internship 2, with the latter requiring completion of the first internship, providing hands-on exposure to real-world business environments.At level 600, the program culminates with the MBA Capstone: Strategy, taken in the final or penultimate trimester, integrating knowledge across all previous studies. Directed subjects allow students to specialise according to career goals, including Strategic Project Management, Project Initiation, Planning and Execution, Project Risk, Finance and Monitoring, and entrepreneurship courses like Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and New Venture Capital Raising. Other options cover international business, organisational change, healthcare management, digital marketing, service and tourism strategy, workplace diversity, communication and influence, and business analytics.This flexible structure enables students to tailor their MBA experience to specific interests, combining core strategic and leadership skills with specialised knowledge.
