COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Health Services Management at Kaplan Business School is structured across three levels—400, 500, and 600—offering a combination of core and directed subjects to develop advanced leadership, strategic, and healthcare management skills.At level 400, students study foundational business subjects, including People, Culture and Contemporary Leadership, Governance, Ethics and Sustainability, Financial and Economic Interpretation and Communication, and Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Psychology. These courses provide essential knowledge and analytical skills for effective decision-making and organisational leadership.Level 500 focuses on advanced leadership and strategy, with subjects such as Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Intelligence and Diversity, and Dynamic Strategy and Disruptive Innovation. Practical experience is gained through Internship 1 and Internship 2, with the second internship building on the first, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world professional environments.Level 600 culminates with the MBA Capstone: Strategy, integrating learning from previous levels. Directed subjects allow students to specialise in healthcare management, including Healthcare Systems, Comprehensive Healthcare Strategies, and Healthcare Management. Additional elective options cover entrepreneurship, international business, organisational change, digital marketing, service and tourism strategy, analytics, and project management, providing flexibility to tailor the MBA to individual career goals.This program equips graduates with the skills to lead healthcare teams, implement strategic solutions, manage resources effectively, and improve outcomes for both healthcare providers and patients.
