The Master of Information Technology at James Cook University is designed to expand your career and enhance employability by providing advanced skills in key areas of IT, including project management, artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, and IT management. A broad range of elective subjects allows further tailoring of the program to individual professional goals, covering areas such as database modelling, collective intelligence, entrepreneurship, web development, machine learning, data science, operating systems, and design thinking.The course also includes a structured Graduate Certificate of Information Technology pathway, where students study two core subjects—Internet Fundamentals and Problem Solving and Programming—along with two specialist electives suited to their career needs.
