COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Education – Master of Business Administration is structured around a comprehensive set of core subjects that integrate educational leadership with business management principles, enabling students to develop advanced knowledge and professional skills. The education component includes Educational Leadership, Education for Sustainability, Introduction to Educational Research, Research Design and Proposal, Leading for Change in Curriculum and Pedagogy, Transformative Digital Learning, Global Education, and Social Learning Perspectives for a Sustainable Future. These subjects equip students with the ability to lead educational innovation, conduct research, promote sustainable practices, integrate digital technologies, and address global educational challenges. The business component focuses on Marketing Essentials, People in Organisations, and Accounting and Finance for Managers, providing a solid understanding of strategic management, organizational behaviour, financial decision-making, and marketing principles relevant to leadership roles. Students also complete either an Applied Research Project or a Professional Project/Internship, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world educational or business contexts while strengthening research and professional practice skills. In addition, students choose between International Political Economy and The Changing Business Environment, gaining insights into global economic systems or contemporary business challenges. This integrated curriculum prepares graduates for leadership and management positions by combining educational expertise, research capability, strategic thinking, and practical business knowledge applicable across diverse professional environments.
