COURSE CURRICULUM

The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support requires the completion of 15 units, including 9 core and 6 elective units. The core units focus on essential skills for providing person-centred care and support, such as delivering individualised support, facilitating empowerment, promoting independence and wellbeing, and recognising healthy body systems. Students also learn effective communication in health or community services, working with diverse populations, adhering to legal and ethical standards, applying infection prevention principles, and following safe work practices for direct client care.The elective units allow learners to specialise in areas relevant to their career goals.
