COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Technology (Civil) curriculum provides advanced knowledge and practical skills in civil engineering, focusing on the design, construction, and management of modern infrastructure systems. In the first year, students study core subjects such as modelling and simulation in engineering, water resource management, and geographic information systems, which help them understand how to analyse and manage environmental and spatial data for engineering applications. In the second year, students advance to more specialized topics such as structural engineering 2, terotechnology and life cycle costing, and intelligent technologies for sustainable construction, which focus on efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible infrastructure development. Additional study in road and traffic engineering enhances understanding of transportation systems and urban planning. The program also includes advanced engineering design and research projects that develop problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
