COURSE CURRICULUM

The course structure is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in international business and leadership through a combination of core and specialized units. Students will complete a total of 180 credit points, beginning with essential core units that build fundamental knowledge and leadership skills across key business areas. These core units include Managing People and Organisations, Marketing Leadership, and Fundamentals of Value Creation in Business, each contributing 20 credit points. The curriculum also covers critical topics such as Business in a Global Context, International Finance, Effective Workplace Participation, Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Management, Working Across Cultures, and Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity, with each of these units also valued at 20 credit points. Together, these nine core units provide a broad and integrated understanding of how to lead effectively in diverse, global environments. In addition to the core units, students are required to complete 60 credit points through either a specialisation pathway or elective units. The specialisation option allows students to focus their studies in a specific area of interest by selecting three units from an approved specialisation, providing deeper expertise in that field. Alternatively, students can choose three elective units, offering the flexibility to tailor their learning experience based on career goals or personal interests. This flexible structure ensures that graduates are equipped with both broad-based managerial competencies and specialised knowledge suited to the evolving demands of international business. The balance of theory and practical application across all units supports the development of strategic thinking, cultural intelligence, and responsible leadership, preparing students to manage complex challenges and drive innovation in diverse organisational settings.
