The Bachelor of Communication is a future-focused degree designed to equip students with essential communication skills for today’s complex media and business environment. Early units introduce the core concepts of advertising, communication campaigns, and audience analysis, while later units explore advanced topics like digital content creation, strategic social media, and global communication. In the final year, students undertake the Communication Agency capstone unit, a 30-credit project that simulates a real-world agency environment. Here, students collaborate on creative campaigns for actual clients, building a portfolio of professional-standard work that demonstrates their readiness for industry roles.The degree structure includes 240 credit points of core and core option units, alongside 120 credit points of elective study. Electives allow for personalisation of the degree through subject-based sequences or minors in areas such as creative writing, photography, journalism, screen production, design, marketing, or event management.
