COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Property and Real Estate/Bachelor of Laws, students must successfully pass 40 credit points, including the compulsory 0-credit-point Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin unit (DAI001) in their first study period. The course combines 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate with 24 credit points from the Bachelor of Laws. The property and real estate component includes 14 credit points of core units (excluding MLC101), 1 credit point of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course elective units, and 1 credit point of elective study from the Faculty of Business and Law. Students must complete a minimum of 3 credit points of Faculty of Business and Law units at level 3 to develop advanced professional knowledge. The Bachelor of Laws component consists of 18 credit points of core legal units, 1 credit point of WIL or practical course elective units, and 5 credit points of law course elective units. Through this structure, students develop expertise in property markets, investment, valuation, legal principles and professional practice. To graduate, students must satisfy all course requirements for both the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate (M348) and Bachelor of Laws (M312), gaining a strong foundation for careers in property law and related industries.
