COURSE CURRICULUM

To complete the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate/Bachelor of Commerce, students must successfully pass 32 credit points, including the compulsory 0-credit-point Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin unit (DAI001) in their first study period. The course combines 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate with 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Commerce. The property and real estate component includes 11 credit points of core units that develop essential industry knowledge, 1 credit point of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course elective units to provide practical experience, and 4 credit points of open elective units. These electives may include additional open elective choices or a minor from the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate. The commerce component consists of 8 credit points of core units and an 8 credit point major, allowing students to specialise in a chosen business discipline. To ensure advanced learning, students must complete a minimum of 6 credit points at level 3, including at least 4 credit points from the Faculty of Business and Law. The course requires students to satisfy all academic requirements for both the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate (M348) and Bachelor of Commerce (M300), preparing graduates with integrated property expertise and business capabilities.
