COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Business at Deakin University is a 32-credit-point double degree that combines knowledge of crime, justice, and business to develop versatile skills for a wide range of professional careers. The course includes 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Criminology and 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Business, with students required to satisfy the academic requirements of both programs. The Criminology component consists of 6 credit points of core units that provide foundational knowledge of crime, justice systems, research, and social issues. Students also complete 6 credit points of criminology course elective units, allowing them to explore specialised areas of interest, along with 4 credit points of Arts elective units. A minimum of 4 credit points of Arts-coded units must be completed at level 3 to ensure advanced learning. The Business component includes 8 credit points of core units that develop essential business knowledge and professional skills, along with an 8-credit-point major selected from available business disciplines.
