COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Professional Engineering in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering is a two-year postgraduate program designed to develop advanced expertise in communication systems, networking technologies, digital systems, and emerging telecommunications applications. In the first year, students establish a strong technical foundation through units such as Digital Signal Analysis, Network Design, and Internet of Things Design and Communications, gaining knowledge of signal processing, network architecture, and connected technologies. Students further enhance their understanding of modern communication systems through Broadband Networks, Digital Communications Engineering, and Embedded Systems Engineering, developing skills in high-speed networks, wireless communication, and hardware-software integration. In the second year, students explore advanced telecommunications technologies through units including Introduction to Software Defined Networking, 5G Networking, Sensor Networks, and Satellite Communications. These subjects provide knowledge of next-generation networks, intelligent communication systems, wireless technologies, and advanced data transmission methods. The program combines theoretical concepts, engineering design, and practical applications to prepare graduates for professional roles in telecommunications, networking, wireless communication, Internet of Things, and emerging digital technology industries.
