COURSE CURRICULUM

The course structure of the Software Engineering program is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in software development, system design, security, and emerging technologies. Over two years, the program focuses on building expertise in software engineering principles, programming methodologies, application development, architecture, and scalable software solutions. In the first year, students study Advanced Software Engineering Testing, Object-Oriented Software Engineering, and Web Application Frameworks, developing skills in software quality assurance, modern programming approaches, and application design. The second semester introduces Secure DevOps, Software Architecture and Extensible Design, and Software Engineering Requirements and Specification, emphasizing secure development practices, system architecture, and effective software planning. In the second year, students explore Software Process Management and further enhance their knowledge through elective options such as Cloud Computing, Advanced Distributed Computing, Data Mining, Industrial Automation and Robotics, and Fundamental Concepts of Data Security. The final semester focuses on Scalable Software Engineering, supported by additional elective choices to broaden technical expertise. This comprehensive curriculum combines theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing graduates to design, develop, manage, and maintain complex software systems.
