COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Professional Engineering in Embedded Systems Engineering is a two-year postgraduate program designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in embedded computing, intelligent devices, communication technologies, and digital system design. In the first year, students establish a strong technical foundation through units such as Computer Aided Engineering of Digital Systems, Internet of Things Design and Communications, and Digital Signal Analysis, gaining expertise in digital technologies, communication systems, and signal processing. Students further develop specialised skills through studies in CPU and GPU Architectures, Embedded Systems Engineering, and Microcomputer System Design, focusing on hardware design, embedded software development, and computer system integration. In the second year, students advance their expertise through units including Real Time Systems, Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Embedded Systems, and Sensor Networks. These subjects provide knowledge of real-time computing, smart industrial technologies, AI applications, and connected sensor-based systems. The program combines theoretical concepts, engineering design, and practical applications to prepare graduates for careers in embedded systems development, IoT engineering, automation, electronics, robotics, and advanced digital technologies. Graduates gain the ability to design and implement intelligent systems that integrate hardware, software, communication networks, and emerging technologies to address complex engineering challenges across various industries.
