COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Professional Accounting in Digital Technologies and Data Management is a two-year postgraduate program designed to combine advanced accounting knowledge with digital technology, data management, and information systems expertise. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation through units such as Financial Principles and Analysis, Fundamentals of Business and Corporations Law, Intermediate Financial Accounting, and Intermediate Management Accounting. They further build their understanding of modern accounting practices through Accounting Systems in the Digital Age, Intermediate Corporate Accounting, Business Analytics and Data Visualisation, and Global Managerial Economics. In the second year, students enhance their professional capabilities through Accounting Research Project, Applied Auditing and Risk Assessment, and Fundamentals of Australian Tax Law, while also developing technical skills through units in database systems, programming, and data management. Students study advanced technology-focused subjects including Business Enterprise Systems, Business Project Management, and Information Security Management, gaining knowledge of how digital solutions support accounting and business operations. The program also offers elective options in areas such as CPA subjects, finance, investment, internships, and professional experiences, allowing students to tailor their learning according to career goals.
