COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Information Systems and Technology in Governance and Sustainability is a two-year postgraduate program designed to develop advanced knowledge in information systems, enterprise governance, sustainability, and strategic technology management. In the first year, students establish a strong foundation through units such as Designing Database Systems, Introduction to Programming, Systems Analysis, and Technological Infrastructure. They further enhance their understanding of business and technology integration through Business Project Management, Data Management, Information Systems Management, and the Societal Impact of Technological Innovation. In the second year, students develop specialised expertise through Information Systems Implementation, Artificial Intelligence in Business: Strategy and Management, and Business Enterprise Systems, gaining practical knowledge of implementing and managing technology solutions that support organisational goals. Students can further tailor their studies by selecting options such as Enterprise Network Security, AI-Driven Knowledge Systems, Information Security Audit and Control, or gain industry experience through the Commerce Clinic, Commerce Internship, Commerce Study Tour, Sustainability and Global Business Study Tour, or other professional learning opportunities. The program combines technical knowledge, governance principles, sustainability practices, and practical industry engagement to prepare graduates for leadership roles in information systems management, enterprise governance, digital transformation, technology consulting, sustainability management, and strategic ICT planning across diverse industries.
