COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Commerce in International Business is a two-year postgraduate program designed to develop advanced global business knowledge, leadership capabilities, and strategic management skills for professionals operating in international environments. In the first year, students establish a strong foundation in business practices through units such as Business Analytics and Data Visualisation, Business Project Management, International Marketing for Managers, and the Societal Impact of Technological Innovation. They further develop their understanding of global business through Business Research Methods, Corporate Sustainability Immersion, Culture and Ethics in Global Business, and Management and Organisational Behaviour. In the second year, students explore advanced topics including Corporate Strategy, Global Business Dynamics, Global Managerial Economics, Executive Education, International Engagement Project, Managing Sustainable Global Operations, and Wicked Problems. The program also provides opportunities for practical industry experience through options such as the Commerce Clinic, Commerce Internship, Study Tour, Sustainability and Global Business Study Tour, or Applied Business Consulting. Through a combination of theoretical learning, research, industry engagement, and practical projects, students develop expertise in international strategy, global operations, sustainability, ethical decision-making, and cross-cultural management. Graduates are prepared for careers in multinational corporations, international consulting, government organisations, global business development, and leadership roles requiring a strong understanding of international markets and operations.
