COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first year of the Entertainment Business Management program, students develop a broad understanding of the industry through a mix of contextual knowledge, principles, practical skills, and creative foundations. The context stream begins with Introduction to Entertainment Management, providing an overview of the field, followed by Event Management Foundations, which focuses on the basics of planning and running events. In the principles stream, students explore Creativity, Culture and Innovation in Entertainment, encouraging them to think critically about the creative processes behind the industry, alongside Introduction to Entertainment Business Law, which covers the legal frameworks that govern entertainment businesses. Practical skills are developed through courses in Entertainment Marketing and Content Creation, equipping students with the ability to promote entertainment products and generate engaging media content. Creative Foundations and Industry Foundations courses support this learning by introducing students to essential creative thinking methods and providing insight into industry operations and standards. This combination of theory and practice prepares students with a solid base to advance their knowledge and skills in entertainment management.
