COURSE CURRICULUM

The Applied Business (Entertainment Management) course at Collarts is structured over three years, with a strong balance between theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and industry experience. In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of entertainment management, event management, and entertainment business law, alongside creative subjects such as marketing, content creation, and cultural innovation. This foundational year also includes creative and industry-focused units to build essential skills. The second year deepens knowledge with topics like entertainment finance, business structures, publicity, copyright management, and talent management, while offering hands-on experience through event management practice and tour management. Students also learn about managing event spaces to gain practical industry insight. In the final year, the course focuses on strategic business technology, partnerships and funding, contemporary marketing, and the global entertainment industry, preparing students for leadership roles. The capstone project allows students to apply their accumulated skills in a comprehensive management context, while industry placement opportunities provide real-world experience. Throughout the course, creative foundations and electives help round out the learning, ensuring graduates have a well-rounded understanding of the entertainment business.
