COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business is a 240-credit-point program designed to develop strong foundational knowledge and advanced skills in business, with a structured combination of core subjects, specialist electives, and general electives. The core component consists of 120 credit points across 12 units, covering essential areas such as business communication, economics, entrepreneurship, business law, management, marketing fundamentals, quantitative analysis, accounting for managers, business ethics, cultural capabilities, global digital enterprise, and a capstone business project that integrates learning into real-world application. Students then complete 60 to 100 credit points of specialist elective units, where they can choose a major, minor, or customised pathway. With Marketing as the chosen major, students study six focused units including Customer Behaviour and Joint Value Creation, Communication Across Cultures and Markets, Evidence-Based Strategy Creation, Brand and Reputation Management, International Market Analysis and Entry, and Design Thinking for Sustainable Innovation, providing strong expertise in modern marketing theory and practice. Additionally, students complete 20 to 60 credit points of general electives from across the university, with a requirement to complete at least 60 credit points at the 300 level or above. The flexible structure ensures a balance of theory and practical learning, preparing graduates for dynamic careers in marketing, branding, digital business, and global market strategy across diverse industries.
