COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business is a 240-credit-point program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical skills, combining core subjects, specialist study, and flexible electives. The core component consists of 120 credit points across 12 units, covering essential areas such as business communication, economics, entrepreneurship, business law, management, marketing fundamentals, quantitative analysis, accounting for managers, business ethics, cultural capabilities, global digital enterprise, and a final capstone business project that integrates learning into real-world business practice. Students then complete 60 to 100 credit points of specialist elective units, where they select a major, minor, or customised pathway based on their career interests. With Entrepreneurship as the major, students complete six focused units: Economics of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, Project Management, Innovation: Strategies and Systems, Evidence-Based Strategy Creation, Business Model Design and Implementation, and Design Thinking for Sustainable Innovation. This major develops strong skills in innovation, startup development, strategic thinking, and business creation, preparing students to launch and manage new ventures or work in innovative business environments. Additionally, students complete 20 to 60 credit points of general electives from across the university, with a requirement to complete at least 60 credit points at the 300 level or above. Overall, the program blends theory with practice to prepare graduates for dynamic careers in entrepreneurship, innovation, consulting, and business leadership.
