COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Management (Emergency and Health Services Management Major) is a 16-unit program consisting of an 8-unit core structure and an 8-unit specialised major designed to prepare students for leadership roles in emergency management, disaster response, and health services administration. The core units develop essential business and management skills through subjects such as Management and Business Context, Effective Business Communications, Managing Human Resources, Marketing Management and Digital Communications, Managerial Finance, Accounting for Management Decision Making, Managing People, Organisations and Context, and Professional Practice and Career Development. These units provide a strong foundation in organisational leadership, financial decision-making, communication, and strategic business management. The Emergency and Health Services Management Major focuses on disaster preparedness, response, and recovery within a public health and emergency framework.
