COURSE CURRICULUM

The Human Resource Management Major combined with a Management Major is designed to prepare students for leadership and people-management roles in modern organisations by developing strong skills in organisational behaviour, workforce planning, and strategic management. The program includes core HRM units such as Organisational Behaviour, Performance Management, Human Resource Training and Development, Talent Strategy and Acquisition, Principles of Employment Relations, Contemporary HRM Issues, Perspectives on Organisational Change, and Conflict and Negotiation. These units provide a comprehensive understanding of how organisations manage people, develop talent, resolve workplace conflicts, and implement effective HR strategies. Students learn how employee behaviour influences organisational performance and how strategic HR practices contribute to business success. When combined with a Management Major, this program develops broader leadership, decision-making, and organisational strategy skills. In some combinations, overlapping units such as Organisational Behaviour are replaced with Liberal Studies electives to ensure a balanced and diverse curriculum. Overall, this program equips graduates with strong interpersonal, analytical, and managerial capabilities required for careers in human resources, organisational development, business management, and consultancy roles. It prepares students to handle workplace challenges, lead teams effectively, and contribute to organisational growth and change in dynamic and competitive business environments.
