COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business program is structured to develop strong technical accounting knowledge along with broader business and management skills. Students must complete a total of 32 units (192 credits), which include a core structure of 20 units, one eight-unit major, and one four-unit minor, allowing flexibility to tailor the degree to career goals. The core curriculum begins with foundational units such as Introduction to Study and Professional Practice, Accounting, Learning and Online Communication, Introduction to Business, Principles of Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing Fundamentals, and Foundations of Business Law. As students progress, they study advanced accounting and finance subjects including Introductory Financial Accounting, Intermediate and Advanced Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Advanced Management Accounting, Business Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, and Accounting Systems and Assurance. Legal and regulatory understanding is developed through Company & Association Law, Taxation Law and Practice, and Auditing & Professional Practice. Corporate Governance and Ethics ensures students understand professional responsibilities in accounting practice. The program also includes Professional Practice and Experience, which provides internship or real-world exposure to industry. Overall, this dual degree equips graduates with strong analytical, financial, and business decision-making skills, preparing them for careers in accounting, auditing, finance, consulting, and corporate management with high employability across multiple industries.
