Master of Business Administration/ Master of Project Management

The combined Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Project Management at Bond University requires students to complete a total of 180 credit points over two years and six semesters. The program consists of 150 credit points of compulsory subjects and 30 credit points of general postgraduate electives, providing a balance between structured learning and flexibility. The compulsory subjects cover key areas of business and leadership, including Individuals, Teams and Leadership, Interpersonal Dynamics, Effective Decision Making, Motivation and Organisation, Managerial Economics, Marketing for Managers, Accounting for Managers and Financial Decision Making. Students also develop advanced skills through Data Analytics for Decision Making, Strategic Insight and the MBA Capstone. The project management component includes Project Innovation and Change, Expert Witness and Dispute Resolution, Risk Management, Principles of Project Management, Project Finance and Procurement, and Project Portfolio and Program Management. A 20-credit-point Research Project provides students with an opportunity to undertake independent research and apply their knowledge to a relevant business or project management topic. In addition to the compulsory subjects, students can select 30 credit points of postgraduate electives from across the University, allowing them to tailor their studies to their professional interests and career objectives. Overall, the subject structure integrates business leadership, strategic decision-making, analytics, risk management and project management skills for future senior management roles.
