The Diploma of Arts offers a supportive and engaging pathway into university study, allowing students to attend lectures alongside undergraduate students while participating in tutorials specifically designed for diploma students, ensuring personalised academic support. The program is structured to help students build confidence in higher education while developing essential academic and professional skills. A key component of the diploma is the Personal Development Portfolio, which equips students with the foundational academic skills required for successful tertiary study. Through guided workshops and focused activities, students are introduced to research techniques, essay and report writing, and correct referencing practices. These skills are progressively developed and documented in a portfolio that links academic learning with the development of transferable skills, preparing students not only for further university study but also for future workplace environments. The diploma program structure also provides a broad introduction to arts disciplines, including communication, international relations, content creation, and world languages, giving students the opportunity to explore diverse fields of study and identify areas of interest for future specialisation.
