COURSE CURRICULUM
This combined Bachelor of Policy, Philosophy and Economics and Bachelor of Laws program at Bond University requires students to complete 400 credit points over 10 semesters, with a fast-track duration of approximately 3 years and 4 months. The curriculum combines law, economics, international relations, public policy, philosophy and politics, creating a multidisciplinary foundation for careers in legal practice, government, public policy, diplomacy and leadership. Students complete three Core Curriculum subjects—Critical Thinking and Communication, Responsibility, Integrity and Civic Discourse, and Collaboration for Global Change—alongside the compulsory Beyond Bond professional development program. The required subjects cover accounting, economics, international trade, international relations, public policy, public diplomacy, political economy and a comprehensive sequence of legal studies, including contracts, torts, criminal law, property, constitutional law, corporate law, administrative law, evidence, dispute resolution and legal professionalism. Students also study contemporary issues in law and society, Australian government and politics, philosophy, ethics, Indigenous Australian art and philosophy, and political philosophy. In addition, students select 60 credit points through an elective option, including 50 credit points of Law electives and 10 credit points of general electives. They may also choose an optional 60-credit-point Law major in Climate Law or Legal Innovation and Technology, allowing further specialisation according to career interests.
