Bond University’s Bachelor of International Relations / Bachelor of Business requires 320 credit points and can be completed in 8 semesters, or approximately 2 years and 8 months. The program combines business education with international relations, providing students with practical commercial knowledge and a strong understanding of global politics, diplomacy and international affairs. Students complete three Core Curriculum subjects—Critical Thinking and Communication, Responsibility, Integrity and Civic Discourse, and Collaboration for Global Change—along with the compulsory Beyond Bond professional development program. The Business component includes 80 credit points of required subjects covering accounting, economics, finance, marketing, human resource management, enterprise law, and business model generation and execution. Students also select a statistics subject, choosing between Business Statistics and Quantitative Methods. A 60-credit-point Business major can be selected from Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Business, Marketing Communication, Management, Marketing, or Tourism and Hotel Management. For the International Relations component, students complete a 60-credit-point foundation major in International Relations, developing knowledge of global politics, governance and international affairs. They can then select another 60-credit-point major in areas such as Cyber Security, Diplomacy, People and Culture, or Regional Studies, allowing further specialisation. The remaining 20 credit points are completed through general university electives, giving students additional flexibility to explore subjects aligned with their academic interests and career goals.
