COURSE CURRICULUM

The core curriculum is designed to equip students with essential academic, ethical, and professional capabilities that support success across all undergraduate degrees. Students are required to complete three foundational subjects that focus on critical thinking and communication, responsibility and integrity in civic and professional contexts, and collaboration for global change. Together, these subjects develop students’ ability to analyse complex issues, communicate ideas clearly and confidently, act with integrity, and work effectively with others in diverse and global environments. Complementing this academic foundation is the Beyond Bond Program, a compulsory professional development initiative that is unique to the university and fully integrated into every undergraduate degree. The program recognises that the world of work is constantly evolving and that graduates need more than discipline-specific knowledge to succeed. Beyond Bond focuses on future-proofing students’ careers by developing broad, transferable employability skills that are highly valued by employers across industries. Using a practical and activity-based approach, the program encourages students to engage in real-world experiences, reflect on their personal and professional growth, and build confidence in applying their skills beyond the classroom. By combining strong academic foundations with continuous professional development, the core curriculum and Beyond Bond Program ensure that graduates are well prepared to adapt to change, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and succeed in an increasingly complex and competitive global workforce.
