COURSE CURRICULUM

The Honours program is structured to progressively develop students’ research skills and culminate in the completion of an independent research project. In the first semester, students undertake two research preparation subjects designed to equip them with the skills necessary to develop a research topic, as well as to gain advanced abilities in the analysis and interpretation of research data. In the second semester, students complete Honours Thesis A and B, conducting their research while further enhancing their skills through various dissertation components, including a three-minute thesis presentation, standard and extended abstracts, and a conference-style poster presentation. These activities allow students to communicate their research effectively and gain experience in academic dissemination. In the final semester, students prepare a full thesis and deliver a final research seminar, presenting and defending their research project and associated results. This structured approach ensures that graduates develop comprehensive research expertise, critical analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, preparing them for advanced study, professional research roles, or careers that require strong investigative and evaluative capabilities.
