COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Health Sciences is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation across multiple disciplines, including health sciences, biomedical science, psychology, and nutrition. In the first year, students complete three core university subjects that develop essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, leadership, and collaboration. Alongside these, students undertake fifteen compulsory subjects spanning the key fields of the program, providing a broad understanding of health and science principles. Additionally, students select six directed electives aligned with their specific interests, allowing them to begin tailoring their studies to their career goals. In the second year, students continue to build on this foundation by completing the remaining compulsory subjects across health sciences, biomedical science, psychology, and nutrition, further deepening their knowledge and interdisciplinary expertise. They also choose six more directed electives from these fields, providing additional opportunities to specialise in areas of personal and professional interest. This structure ensures that graduates develop a strong, versatile skill set and a well-rounded understanding of health-related disciplines, preparing them for diverse careers in health sciences, research, public health, wellness, and related fields.
