COURSE CURRICULUM

The core curriculum requires students to complete thirty credit points through three foundational subjects, alongside participation in the Beyond Bond Program, to ensure a balanced combination of academic learning and professional skill development. These core subjects focus on critical thinking and communication, responsibility and integrity in civic and professional life, and collaboration for global change, equipping students with the ability to analyse complex issues, communicate effectively, make ethical decisions, and work collaboratively in diverse and global contexts. Together, they provide a strong intellectual and ethical framework that supports success across all areas of study and future career pathways. Complementing these subjects is the Beyond Bond Program, a compulsory professional development initiative that is unique to the university and integrated into all undergraduate degrees. This program is designed to respond to the constantly evolving work landscape by helping students future-proof their careers through the development of broad, transferable employability skills that are highly valued by employers. Using a practical and activity-based approach, Beyond Bond encourages students to engage in real-world experiences, build professional confidence, and continuously develop skills such as adaptability, communication, teamwork, and leadership. By combining a strong core curriculum with ongoing professional development, students graduate well prepared to navigate change, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and succeed in a competitive and dynamic global workforce.
