The required curriculum combines communication and legal studies. Communication subjects include Foundations of Content Creation, Introduction to Communication, Digital Media and Society, Capstone Project, and Research Methods and Data Visualisation. The Law component covers essential areas such as Legal Foundations, Private Law, Public and Criminal Law, Contract Law, Tort Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Equity, Administrative Law, Evidence, Civil Dispute Resolution, and Legal Profession. Students choose 30 credit points of Foundation Options, with subjects including Strategic Speaking and Writing, Organisational Communication, Gender Communication, Mass and Popular Media, Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal Communication, and Persuasion and Influence. They also select 10 credit points of Professional Options from Advertising, Journalism, or Public Relations. Students complete a 40-credit-point Communication minor from areas such as Advertising, Corporate Storytelling, Creative Writing, Digital Media, Film and Television, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or Social Media. Finally, 70 credit points of Law electives allow students to explore additional legal areas and tailor the degree to their interests.
