COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to provide a strong and progressive foundation in business knowledge while allowing students to begin shaping their academic and career direction early in their studies. In the first year, students complete their initial eight subjects by studying one university core subject alongside three required program subjects in each semester. These required subjects introduce essential areas of business and economics, including accounting principles, management accounting, principles of economics, fundamentals of finance, and responsible and sustainable organisations. Together, these subjects develop a solid understanding of how organisations operate financially, economically, and ethically in contemporary business environments. From the first semester, students also benefit from access to a supportive and well-established Business Mentoring Program, which connects them with academic staff, senior students, and alumni who provide guidance, advice, and industry insights, helping students build confidence and professional awareness from the outset of their degree. In the second year, students continue to build on this foundation by completing their third university core subject along with three additional program-required subjects that further deepen their business knowledge and analytical skills. At the same time, students begin to personalise their degree by selecting a further four subjects through the commencement of their chosen major. This stage of the program also allows students to start their elective subjects or, if desired, work toward an optional second major. This flexible structure enables students to align their studies with their interests and career goals while maintaining a strong grounding in core business disciplines. By the end of the second year, students have developed both broad business competencies and the beginnings of specialised expertise, preparing them for advanced study and diverse professional opportunities.
