COURSE CURRICULUM

The core curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong academic, ethical, and professional foundation that supports success across all areas of study and future careers. As part of this curriculum, students are required to complete three core subjects that focus on critical thinking and communication, responsibility and integrity in civic and professional life, and collaboration for global change. Together, these subjects develop essential capabilities such as analytical reasoning, clear and persuasive communication, ethical decision-making, and the ability to work effectively with others in diverse and global contexts. Students learn to evaluate complex issues, engage in informed civic discourse, and collaborate across disciplines and cultures to address pressing social and global challenges. Complementing these academic foundations is the Beyond Bond Program, a compulsory professional development initiative that is unique to the university and integrated into all undergraduate degrees. This program recognises that the nature of work is constantly evolving and that graduates require more than disciplinary knowledge to succeed in modern workplaces. Beyond Bond focuses on helping students future-proof their careers by developing broad, transferable employability skills that are actively sought by employers across industries. Through a practical and activity-based approach, students engage in real-world learning experiences that enhance skills such as adaptability, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and professional communication. The program is embedded throughout the student journey, ensuring continuous personal and professional growth alongside academic learning.
