COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to progressively build strong business knowledge, practical skills, and professional confidence across two years of study, with a clear focus on real-world application and career readiness. In the first year, students complete a combination of essential introductory and intermediate-level subjects that establish a solid foundation in business principles and professional practice. This includes the university core subjects, along with nine required program subjects that introduce key concepts such as business model generation and business model execution. Through these subjects, students develop the critical skill sets needed to successfully launch, grow, and confidently manage an actual start-up or business, gaining practical insight into how ideas are transformed into viable enterprises. Students also benefit from access to a strong support network through the Bond Business Mentoring Program, which connects them with experienced academic staff, senior students, and alumni who provide guidance, industry insights, and professional encouragement throughout their studies. In the second year, students build on this foundation by selecting a major that aligns with their interests and career aspirations. Major options include entrepreneurship and innovation, international business, management, marketing, marketing communication, and tourism management, allowing students to specialise in areas relevant to their chosen career pathway. Year two also offers valuable opportunities to gain direct exposure to the business world, with the option to undertake a study tour or a business internship as an elective subject. These experiential learning opportunities enable students to apply theoretical knowledge in real business contexts, develop professional networks, and gain practical experience that enhances employability. Together, the structured progression from foundational learning to specialisation and industry engagement ensures graduates are well equipped with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience needed to succeed in dynamic and competitive business environments.
