COURSE CURRICULUM

The core curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong academic and professional foundation by combining essential theoretical learning with practical skill development. Students are required to complete three core subjects that focus on critical thinking and communication, responsibility and integrity in civic and professional life, and collaboration for global change. These subjects are central to developing students’ ability to analyse complex issues, communicate ideas clearly and effectively, make ethical and informed decisions, and work collaboratively in diverse and global contexts. Together, they ensure that students graduate with strong intellectual discipline, ethical awareness, and teamwork capabilities that are applicable across a wide range of careers. In addition to these subjects, students must complete CORE11-004 Beyond Bond: Professional Development and Community Engagement, a compulsory program that is embedded across all undergraduate degrees. The Beyond Bond Program is designed to respond to the rapidly changing nature of the modern workforce by helping students future-proof their careers through the development of broad, transferable employability skills that are highly valued by employers. Using a practical and activity-based approach, the program provides opportunities for real-world engagement, community involvement, and continuous professional development. By integrating academic foundations with hands-on professional learning, the core curriculum and Beyond Bond Program ensure that graduates are well prepared to adapt, lead, and contribute meaningfully in an evolving global work environment.
