COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business is structured across three academic years, providing students with a progressive and comprehensive learning journey that integrates foundational knowledge, analytical capability, and advanced strategic application. All subjects carry a consistent workload of 12 hours per week, comprising three timetabled hours of lectures and tutorials and nine hours of independent study, ensuring balanced academic engagement throughout the program. In Year 1 at Level 100, students develop core business foundations through subjects such as accounting for business, business information systems, international business, marketing, communication, and quantitative methods, supported by elective options that allow early exploration of individual interests. Year 2 at Level 200 builds analytical, research, and managerial capability, with a strong focus on data analytics, business research methods, international strategic management, entrepreneurship and innovation, and organisational behaviour and change management. Additional electives in this year enable students to further tailor their studies and deepen knowledge in chosen areas. In Year 3 at Level 300, students engage with advanced and integrative subjects that emphasise strategic thinking and global business practice, including business strategy, international marketing, global supply chain management, and leadership in a global context. The program culminates in a capstone project, which allows students to synthesise knowledge and skills acquired throughout the degree by addressing real-world business challenges in a practical and applied manner. Across all three years, elective subjects provide flexibility and opportunities for specialisation, supporting diverse career pathways. This structured curriculum ensures graduates develop strong business fundamentals, advanced analytical and leadership skills, and practical experience, preparing them for professional roles in domestic and international business environments or further postgraduate study.
