COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ACU is structured over two years full-time and provides a comprehensive foundation in business alongside opportunities to specialise or customise your learning pathway. In Year 1, Semester 1, students complete foundational units including Business Communication for the 21st Century, Managing Market Environments, Organisational Dynamics and Behaviour, and Research Methods. These units establish essential skills in communication, management, and research required for effective decision-making and leadership.In Semester 2, students continue building their core business knowledge with units such as Accounting for Decision Making or Money Management, Strategic Management for Sustainability, and Data Analysis and Interpretation, while also selecting an elective or stream unit to tailor their studies. This semester emphasises practical skills in accounting, strategy, sustainability, and analytical techniques.Year 2 allows students to consolidate their expertise and specialise further. Semester 1 includes Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Risk Management, and two elective or stream units, providing advanced financial, governance, and strategic insights. Semester 2 focuses on Entrepreneurship, Ethical Leadership, Managerial Marketing, and another elective or stream unit, combining leadership, marketing, and entrepreneurial skills with ethical decision-making. Across the program, electives and streams allow students to customise their MBA or specialise in areas such as Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, or Health Management. The curriculum equips graduates with both theoretical understanding and practical skills to lead ethically and sustainably in diverse business contexts.
