COURSE CURRICULUM

The Cyber Security course begins in Semester 1 with two foundational units: Cyber Security Concepts, which introduces essential security principles and practices, and Modern Information Technology Infrastructure, which provides an understanding of the systems and platforms that support secure digital environments. In Semester 2, the focus shifts to practical and technical skill development through Computer Networks, where students learn how networks operate and communicate, and Network Security and Applications, which explores methods for protecting networked systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Together, these units build a strong foundation in cyber security theory, network operations and applied security techniques, preparing students for further study or professional roles in the cyber security industry.
