Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science/Bachelor of Business

This four-year double degree combines Exercise and Sports Science with Business, offering a balanced curriculum that develops expertise in health, fitness, sport, management, and commercial practice. In Year 1, students build foundational knowledge through Marketing Essentials, Introduction to Exercise Science, exercise physiology, nutrition, managing people and organisations, motor development, and anatomical foundations. Year 2 develops practical and scientific skills through health and sport psychology, motor control, functional anatomy, community engagement, business law, financial literacy, information technology, and the mechanical foundations of exercise science. In Year 3, students study global management, buyer behaviour, leadership, organisational sustainability, biomechanics, exercise assessment, conditioning, resistance training, and exercise physiology, while beginning professional experience preparation. Year 4 integrates advanced business and exercise science knowledge through entrepreneurship, innovation, design thinking, exercise physiology and environmental adaptation, organisational behaviour, and finance. Students also complete two professional experience placements, providing opportunities to apply academic knowledge in practical workplace settings and develop industry-ready capabilities. The program therefore combines scientific understanding of human movement, exercise, health, and performance with business, leadership, finance, marketing, and management skills.
