COURSE CURRICULUM

To qualify for the MBA specialising in Project Management, students must complete 12 units totalling 96 credit points, including eight core units, three specialisation units, and one elective. The core units provide a comprehensive business foundation covering ethical, legal and industrial frameworks, applied accounting and financial management, leadership and influence, digital transformation, supplier and consumer behaviour, marketing and communications, human resource management and employment relations, and an applied industry project. Students who commenced their studies in 2025 or earlier may substitute certain units with project management alternatives, subject to prerequisite requirements such as completion of 24 or 48 credit points. The Project Management specialisation includes three focused units: project management profession, project constraint management, and procurement, quality and risk management, which build essential skills in planning, controlling, and delivering projects effectively. In addition, students must choose one elective from a wide range of options, including business strategy, operations management, business law, international business, business analytics, artificial intelligence, critical thinking, and various information systems subjects, as well as selected health management units. This structure ensures students gain strong business knowledge, specialised project management expertise, and flexible learning opportunities suited to diverse career paths.
