COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Project Management and Business (MPMB) is a postgraduate qualification designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and professional competencies in project management and strategic business practices. To qualify for the award, students must complete a total of 12 units, comprising eight core units and four elective units, equivalent to 96 credit points.The core units focus on critical areas of modern project and portfolio management. These include foundational subjects such as project management principles, enterprise and resource planning, and constraint management. The curriculum also covers essential project delivery techniques, procurement strategies, and quality and risk management, ensuring students can manage projects from initiation to completion. Further emphasis is placed on integration and change management to prepare graduates for complex, evolving business environments.In addition to practical project skills, students develop research competencies through a dedicated unit in research methodology and data analysis. The program culminates in an applied project, which allows students to demonstrate their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, integrating both research and project management expertise.Students have the flexibility to tailor their learning through a selection of elective units. Recommended electives include subjects such as venture and project finance, business strategy management, strategic portfolio management, and enterprise operations.
