Course Curriculum

The Diploma of Information Technology is structured over two trimesters, providing students with foundational knowledge and practical skills across various IT disciplines. In the first trimester, students study Academic and Professional Skills Development for Science and Technology, Creative Coding, Computer Systems and Cyber Security, and Programming Principles. These courses introduce essential IT concepts, programming skills, and security fundamentals necessary for success in the field. Students with an IELTS score below 6.0 or equivalent must also complete free Language Development Modules to support their academic progress.In the second trimester, the program covers Data Management, Professional Practice in Information Technology, Introduction to Cyber Security, and Application Systems. These subjects expand students' understanding of managing data, industry practices, cybersecurity principles, and software applications. Together, the two trimesters offer a comprehensive overview of information technology and prepare students for further study or practical work experience in the IT industry.
