Course Curriculum

The Graduate Diploma and Master of Engineering Management courses at Flinders University offer a structured pathway that balances business and management studies with engineering and design. The Graduate Diploma provides foundational study in human resources management, marketing strategy, decision making, accounting, and engineering project management, alongside engineering-focused subjects such as design, design communication, and systems engineering. The Master’s program builds on this foundation, covering advanced topics including commercial law, supply chains and operations, manufacturing design, and sustainability in engineering. Students can also select electives in areas such as managing negotiations, waste management, and Industry 4.0. Both programs include a major project that integrates and applies the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course. For students who enter the Master of Engineering Management with an accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), these elements are embedded throughout the program, providing a comprehensive and practical pathway for developing advanced engineering management expertise.
