Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Health Sciences is structured to provide students with a strong foundation in health and social sciences while also offering flexibility to pursue specialisations or minors tailored to their career aspirations. In the first year, students are introduced to essential topics such as human bioscience, health and social care in Australia, and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, ensuring they develop a solid understanding of the biological, cultural, and systemic contexts of health. Students continue with their chosen specialisations or minors, supported by core topics such as research and study skills and legal and ethical aspects of health care, which prepare them for professional roles in health settings.
