Course Curriculum

The first year of the Bachelor of Commerce at Flinders University provides a foundation in essential business and commerce principles. Core topics include economic environments, business transactions, financial literacy, data in business, coding for business, and business law, along with two elective option topics. These courses equip students with the skills needed to analyse business data, understand financial systems, navigate legal frameworks, and apply technology in commercial contexts. The program offers flexibility in structuring the course of study, allowing students to select two majors, a major with two minors, a major with one minor and option topics, or a major with option topics. This approach enables students to tailor their learning to their individual interests and career goals, combining core business knowledge with specialised areas of study.
