Course Curriculum

The Sports Management major within the Bachelor of Business at Flinders University offers a curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the sports industry. Core topics include developing entrepreneurs and small businesses, sports marketing, sports leadership and governance, sports law, and sport coaching, management, and administration. These courses provide students with a strong foundation in the business, legal, and operational aspects of sports management, preparing them to manage sports clubs, events, and programs effectively. Students also have the opportunity to gain practical experience through an industry placement or engagement with industry projects, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings and develop professional networks. Additionally, two elective option topics can be selected to tailor the program to individual interests and career goals.
